ABOUT
LIVINGSTON'S OLDEST DOWNTOWN ORGANIZATION
The LDBOBA, as the oldest downtown organization in Livingston, is a major force. It initiated with Missoula the effort for rail passenger service coming to Livingston. It has created a mural, statuary, parking lots and was essential in the initial creation of the Shane Center. Other objectives completed are running the Yellowstone Bus tours, assisting the URA with incentive for reopening the Albemarle, creation of the Fish Statue (though we wanted 5 of animals that come to Livingston), advocating for the Livingston downtown businesses in stopping the one-way street on Main Street, etc. The LDBOBA predated and advocated for Vision Livingston, the LBID, the CVB and TBID. The LDBOBA continues in its efforts and considers this a pivotal point in downtown Livingston’s ECONOMIC HEALTH.
